It is an honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 8th Korea-Taiwan-Japan
Symposium of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, which will be held on June 23rd, 2018 in Seoul, South Korea.
We will prepare one serial session (15 oral presentations from three countries) in the morning session of Korea-Taiwan-Japan Symposium where emerging medical doctors from the three countries can actively present and exchange their knowledge. During the afternoon on this day, the Korean Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine will hold the Korean conference for the Korean doctors as an annual event. After these academic events, we will have a Congress Banquet at night on June 23rd (Saturday), 2018. Please make the most of this opportunity to connect with fellow colleagues and professors on this special banquet dinner. We greatly hope that this symposium will provide opportunity to gain the most recent knowledge through rigorous conversation, to build support for your clinical practice as well as building multi-cultural friendship through memorable experience. We would be very grateful if our members, Taiwanese and Japanese doctors who are also interested in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine area could actively be involved in the event so that doctors from three countries can bring educational and cultural exchange to life.
In Seoul, there are many beautiful places you can visit, such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul City Wall stretching around mountains in Seoul, Cheonggyecheon Stream, Bongeunsa (Temple), and Han River Cruise. We also have variety of cuisines you can try, for example, Korean barbeque that comes with lettuce, garlic and chili paste, Sundubu Jjigae (Soft tofu stew), Dolsot Bibimbap (Hotpot Mixed Rice), Samggye-tang (Gingseng Chicken Soup), and Galbi (grilled ribs containing soy sauce, garlic, and sugar). There are still many cultural wonders, from food to architectures to be discovered in the unique and wonderful capital city of Seoul.
On behalf of the Korean Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, we are looking forward to welcoming you to Seoul and wish all of you a wonderful time in Korea.
